Michael J. Fox and his wife Tracy Pollan

One of the most admirable Hollywood couples, Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan, have celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary. Throughout their faithful marriage, they have supported each other through ups and downs, especially during Fox’s battle with Parkinson’s disease. To commemorate this milestone, Fox shared a touching tribute to his loving wife.

Over the years, the 62-year-old Back to the Future actor has posted numerous images of Tracy on social media. In the caption, Fox wrote, “35 years of laughter, living, listening, and loving you. Thank you for it all. Forever yours, Mike.” Pollan replied, “Love you so much!!!” in the comments, and she also shared her own Instagram post paying tribute to her husband.

Last month, Pollan turned 63, and Fox tweeted a heartfelt birthday message to his wife. It said, “She showers the people she loves with love, she shows them the way that she feels. My forever Summer girl, my love, my best friend, and the most beautiful amazing mom to our four stupendous kids. Love love love you.”

The love story between Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan began in 1988 when they first met on the set of Family Ties, where Pollan played Alex P. Keaton’s fiancée. They collaborated once again on the movie Bright Lights, Big City, and their romance blossomed. They tied the knot on July 16, 1988, and together, they have their son Sam, identical twin girls Aquinnah and Schuyler, and daughter Esmé.

Tragedy struck just a few years into their marriage when Fox received a devastating diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease in 1991. It was a scary time for Fox, but he credits his wife’s unwavering love and support for getting him through the toughest days as he grappled with his condition.

Their love and support for each other have remained steadfast for the past 35 years. They truly listen to each other and are there when needed, while also respecting each other’s personal space. Fox expressed his admiration for Pollan, saying, “Tracy gives our family everything that we need. Any good in our family, anything good that we do, comes from her.”

Although Fox announced his retirement from acting in 2021, he continues to make a positive impact through his Michael J. Fox Foundation. This foundation funds research initiatives to develop more effective Parkinson’s therapies and ultimately find a cure. To date, the organization has raised over $1 billion for Parkinson’s disease research, making it the largest nonprofit financier in this field.
