Remember those moments in school when we let our minds wander and were scolded by our teachers for not paying attention? Well, Joe Whale knows all about it because he used to get in trouble for doodling instead of focusing in class.

Joe, who was just 9 years old at the time, refused to put down his doodle-filled workbook, and thankfully, his parents saw his passion and decided to support him. It didn’t take long for Joe’s after-school art teacher near their home in Shrewsbury, England, to notice his exceptional talent.

“I asked his parents for some of his work to assess his level and could not believe what I was looking at. We moved him into an older class straight away,” Joe’s art teacher Kerry explained.

Joe’s work was not only precise and immaculate, but he had a natural ability to create perfect pieces straight from the start, without any practice beforehand.

Impressed by Joe’s talent, his art teacher shared some of his work on Instagram, and something truly incredible happened. The owner of a local restaurant, “Number 4,” approached Joe’s teacher and requested permission to use Joe’s drawings to decorate the dining area.

Since then, Joe’s dad, Greg, has been taking him to the restaurant after school so he can create artwork on the walls.

“Joe is a really talented little boy. He’s excelling at school, he’s a great footballer and cricketer, but drawing is definitely what he is most passionate about,” his proud dad shared.

It’s amazing to see how Joe’s independent artwork has caught the attention of a business, proving just how talented he is at such a young age.

If you’re as impressed as we are, make sure to share Joe’s incredible artwork with your friends and family today. Let’s support this gifted young artist!
