In a poignant interview with Oprah in 2012, she tearfully recounted the details of that horrific day. The pain is still raw, as she confessed, “It’s been 20 years, but it’s just like—I don’t guess it ever quits hurting.”

Each year, Reba takes the opportunity to pay tribute to those she lost in the crash. In 2020, she marked the anniversary by remembering her friends and their untimely departure. She believes they are all together in heaven, looking out for one another.
