It has been a challenging time for Bruce Willis and his family. As many of you may know, the beloved actor has recently been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, a degenerative brain condition that has caused him to step away from the limelight, possibly for good. While there has been talk of the family’s unwavering support for Bruce, recent reports have shed light on the disturbing picture of his mental health.

Earlier this year, the Willis family shared the news of Bruce’s dementia diagnosis. In response, his daughter, Scout, penned a heartfelt letter, expressing her feelings of being “a bit overwhelmed.” It was in March of last year when Bruce received a formal diagnosis of aphasia, a condition that affects communication. Sadly, this led to his decision to retire from acting, as he struggled to converse with others on set.

In February of 2023, Bruce’s frontotemporal dementia diagnosis became public knowledge, and since then, his family has been facing an uphill battle. Recent reports indicate that they may be dealing with yet another difficult situation.

According to Radar Online, Tallulah, Bruce and Demi Moore’s daughter, has been struggling with anorexia after the breakup with her fiancé, Dillon Buss. This unfortunate event happened just three months after Bruce’s aphasia diagnosis. A source reveals that Bruce witnessed Tallulah’s decline and it only exacerbated his own problems. The insider shares, “Bruce was shattered when he saw Tallulah’s suffering,” adding that the family even reached a point where they thought it would be best to not be around each other.

After her breakup, Tallulah sought help and entered a residential treatment center, where she was diagnosed with BPD (borderline personality disorder). Reflecting on her experience, she shared, “I felt smart for the first time, but I also started to enjoy the appetite-suppressant side effect of the meds. I saw a way to banish the awkward adolescent in favor of a flighty little pixie.” Yet, like many individuals with eating disorders, her sense of self became distorted.

Tallulah’s weight dropped to a concerning 84 lbs by the spring of 2022. She constantly felt cold, even resorting to calling mobile IV teams for assistance. The fear of not having somewhere to sit down and catch her breath prevented her from walking in her own neighborhood.

It is our hope that Tallulah receives the care and support she needs to heal. Dealing with her father’s health struggles on top of her own challenges must undoubtedly be difficult for her.

Let’s come together and show our love and support for the Willis family by sharing this article. Our prayers and positive thoughts can make a difference during these trying times.
