Storage Wars stars Jarrod Schultz and Brandi Passante have found themselves entangled with the law. Passante, formerly in a romantic relationship with her on-screen partner Schultz, was at a bar in Orange County when Schultz unexpectedly arrived, leading to a heated argument. Despite Passante’s request for Schultz to leave, he refused and even physically pushed her. As a result, Schultz has been arrested on charges of domestic violence battery against his ex-wife and former on-screen partner.

According to a law enforcement source from Orange County, Schultz lost control during the altercation. Although he was not apprehended at the scene, Passante reported the incident, and Schultz was questioned by the police a few days later. Despite conflicting eyewitness accounts, Schultz denied assaulting Passante at the bar in Orange County.

Upon arrival at the bar, Schultz had already left. However, Passante filed a police report, which corroborated her claims of being shoved twice in front of witnesses.

Even though Schultz maintains his innocence, the Orange County District Attorney’s Office has taken Passante’s side. They have considered her testimony and charged Schultz with misdemeanor domestic violence battery.

Schultz and Passante were known as “the young guns” on A&E’s Storage Wars, appearing together for twelve seasons. However, for the thirteenth season premiere, Passante confirmed that they had split up and would now bid independently on the show. Fans were saddened by the news, realizing that their teamwork in searching for treasures in abandoned storage units had come to an end.

“I’m no longer with Jarrod,” Passante revealed on the April 20, 2021 episode. She also disclosed that they ended their relationship after filming concluded for the twelfth season in November 2018.

It is important to note that although the pair were labeled as husband and wife on Storage Wars, they were never legally married. They were business partners with a romantic interest and are parents to two children, Cameron and Payton.

TMZ reached out to Jarrod Schultz for a comment regarding the assault on Passante in Orange County on April 30, 2021. However, he has chosen to remain silent for now, not responding to any requests or addressing the charges against him.

The thirteenth season of Storage Wars will feature many beloved stars who played a significant role in the show’s success on the A&E network. Returning celebrities for this season include Dan and Laura Dotson, Brandi Passante, Jarrod Schultz, Darrell Sheets, Kenny Crossley, Rene Nezhoda, Casey Nezhoda, and Ivy Calvin and his sons, according to an A&E press release. One notable absence is the iconic “yup” man, Dave Hester. No further information has been provided regarding his absence from this season. However, it was mentioned that Darrell Sheets came out of retirement to participate in the thirteenth season of this reality show.
