Dr. Dre, the renowned music producer and rapper, who is also the creator of Beats by Dre headphones, has amassed extreme wealth throughout his career, reaching an estimated net worth of nearly $800 million. However, behind the scenes, Dr. Dre is also a father. Unfortunately, his eldest daughter, LaTanya Young, has recently opened up about her financial hardships and the fact that she is currently living out of her rental SUV, desperately pleading for her father’s assistance.

Sadly, Young revealed that she has not received any support from her estranged father for the past eighteen months. Even throughout the pandemic, she has been left to navigate her struggles without any aid from her millionaire father. Interestingly, Dr. Dre’s legal name is Andre Romelle Young, which makes this situation all the more disheartening.

In order to make ends meet, Young works as a food delivery driver for popular apps like Uber Eats and DoorDash. This means that she is forced to rely on the meager wages provided by these companies, as well as the generous tips from kind-hearted customers, just to survive.

As a mother of four, LaTanya Young is facing immense challenges. In addition to her two delivery jobs, she also works a late-night shift as an assembler at a warehouse in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, things are not going well for Young and her family, and her plea for help has fallen on deaf ears.

Young is the daughter of Dr. Dre and Lisa Johnson, who separated when LaTanya was just five years old. For the past eighteen years, she has had no contact with her biological father. In fact, she doesn’t even have his cell phone number and is forced to communicate through his team if she wants to reach out to him.

LaTanya’s love for her father is evident through the fact that she named her first son after him – eight-year-old D’Andre. She also has three other children: 16-year-old Tatiyana, 13-year-old Rhiana, and three-year-old Jason III.

Speaking to DailyMail.com, the struggling single mom shared, “I’ve been working in a warehouse and doing Uber Eats and DoorDash. My kids are staying with friends – they are not living in the car; it’s just me. I’m taking odd jobs just to make it now – I got paid $15 an hour as an assembler at the warehouse. I’m trying to keep my head above water. I’ve been in debt for a while.”

The situation has become so dire that she might lose her rental car, which has been her makeshift shelter. She explained, “The car is a significant expense. It costs $2,300 for three weeks, and I have only paid for one week. Sooner or later, they are going to take the car.”

Recently, Young relocated from Nevada to California with her children in search of better opportunities. However, work has been scarce, leaving her in a desperate situation. She shared, “The wages are higher in California – there was no work in Nevada. There weren’t enough jobs. I have friends and family that will let us come back and forth, but the majority of the time, I’m living out of my car.”

Given the circumstances, do you believe Dr. Dre should provide assistance to his eldest daughter during her time of need?
