When actor Kevin Hart proudly shared a photo of his adorable newborn daughter on Instagram, he wasn’t prepared for the backlash that followed. The image featured his little girl resting on a cozy blanket, wearing a small shirt with the phrase “Zero f***s given.” This seemingly innocent choice of outfit set off a wave of criticism from some of Hart’s more sensitive fans on social media.

In the caption of the Instagram post, Hart promoted his new Netflix special with the words, “‘Zero Fs Given.’ My baby is supporting her daddy on the opening day!!!! Zero Fs given is streaming on NETFLIX NOOOOOOOWWW!!!!! Go get some comedy in yo life, damn it!!!!!” It was evident that Hart was using the post as a platform to advertise his special. Despite the “offensive” curse word in the title, he saw no issue with dressing his newborn daughter in a shirt with that word on it in the name of his career. Hart knew that the image of his cute baby girl would attract a lot of attention, so he proudly shared the picture to honor his new Netflix special.

Since its upload on the first day of Hart’s Netflix special launch, the post has garnered over 800,000 likes and hundreds of comments. Many people expressed their love for the beautiful baby girl, Kaori, and even commended the controversial shirt she was wearing. There were comments like, “Too cute and got the people that are getting mad. She can’t read. Not your child. He is promoting to get attention, which he already got y’all attention. NO F***S GIVEN,” and “Just here for the ‘can’t believe you would put your child in a shirt with profanity’ commentary.”

However, not everyone was a fan of the shirt choice. Critics made their distaste known with comments like, “You actually put that on your baby? Geesh,” and “Hmmm, not sure how I feel about putting swear words on baby clothing. Anyone else?” Some individuals even questioned Hart’s parenting, stating, “Wow, Kev always thought you were a GREAT DAD! Now, why would a newborn want to wear this explicative expression?” It was clear that opinions varied greatly on whether the baby shirt was appropriate or not.

In the midst of the controversy, some people took a lighthearted approach and even tried to launch their own comedy careers with comments like, “And she’s already taller than her daddy.”

What do you think? Do you believe the baby shirt was inappropriate?
