Car Driving Away

Oscar, a proud owner of a brand new Mercedes, drove his luxurious car to his favorite sporting goods store. Excited for his shopping trip, he parked the car outside and entered the store to meet Jan, his regular saleswoman.

As Oscar walked in, Jan, a friendly and pretty blonde, greeted him with a smile. However, Oscar kindly requested to browse the store alone before seeking her assistance. Jan respected his wish and gave him the freedom to explore.

Just five minutes later, Jan came rushing towards Oscar, panic evident in her voice. She exclaimed, “Oscar! Oscar! I just witnessed someone driving off with your new Mercedes!”

Alarmed, Oscar asked, “Dear God! Did you try to stop him?”

Jan responded with a confident grin, “No, Oscar. I did something even better! I managed to memorize the license plate number!”

A farmer decided to surprise his daughter with a special gift – a cute little pot-belly pet pig. The little girl was thrilled and instantly named her new friend “Stinky” as they played together in the yard.

However, when the pig was in its sty, the little girl had a different name for it – “Ballpoint”. Curious, the farmer asked his daughter about the two names.

With a mischievous smile, she explained, “That’s easy, Daddy! Ballpoint is just his pen name!”

By connecting these stories, we see moments of quick thinking and cleverness. Just like Jan who prioritized getting the license plate number during a car theft, the farmer’s daughter demonstrated her imaginative thinking by giving her pig a pen name. These tales remind us that sometimes the simplest solutions can have unexpected brilliance.
