In a shocking incident caught on video, a brave bus driver was attacked by a thug while the bus was in motion. Despite being restrained by his seat-belt, the driver valiantly defended himself. Unfortunately, no one came to his aid, which sadly seems to be a common sight in America these days.

But hold on, there’s more to this story. Remember, the bus was still moving during the altercation. Unable to reach the brakes, the inevitable happens – BOOM! The bus crashes into a nearby building, adding another layer of chaos to the scene. The suspect was promptly arrested and is now facing charges for his reckless actions.

According to KFOR, Oklahoma City’s Public Transportation Department released the video footage, shedding light on the attack against one of their EMBARK bus drivers. The incident took place near N Western Avenue and West Britton Road on a fateful Saturday.

The perpetrator, identified as 23-year-old Tihron Harrison, repeatedly struck the driver, forcibly pulling him from his seat as the bus continued to move. Lt. Jeff Cooper from the Oklahoma City Police Department explained, “The suspect asked to be let off at the intersection of Britton and Western. The bus driver told him he couldn’t do that.”

In adherence to city policy, the bus operator had simply informed the passenger that he could disembark at the next designated stop. Little did anyone know that this seemingly routine bus ride would escalate into such a senseless and dangerous ordeal.

Let this serve as a reminder of the risks and challenges our bus drivers face daily, even as they strive to provide safe and reliable transportation for all of us. We must support and appreciate their dedication while working towards a society where such incidents become a thing of the past.
