We all have moments in life where we wish we could turn back time and make different choices. Meet Ethan Bramble, nicknamed ‘ModBoy’, an Australian man who once covered his entire body with over 200 tattoos. However, for the sake of his young daughter, Ethan decided to change his appearance and leave his tattoo-filled past behind.

While tattoos are a popular way to express oneself, Ethan took it to the extreme. Most people have their limits, but Ethan was willing to go above and beyond. He got his first body modification, stretching his ears, at the young age of 11. From there, he underwent various other procedures like splitting his tongue and even removing his belly button.

But it was his tattoos that garnered the most attention, as he became a walking canvas from head to toe. In total, Ethan estimates he spent around $60,000 AUD (approximately $39,000 USD) to achieve his unique look.

However, as time passed, Ethan began to feel some regret about his choices. In an interview with LadBibleTV’s No Filter series, he expressed, “I guess you could say I regret some tattoos. It’s not just regret, though. I think there’s a difference between regret and wanting to be seen differently.”

Ethan worries about being judged for his tattoos, especially when engaging in everyday activities like taking his daughter to school. He admitted, “For some people, not everyone, it can cause a lot of problems for you. I wouldn’t want my daughter to have to deal with that until she’s older. I wish I hadn’t put so many tattoos on my face.”

In an effort to transform his image, Ethan has turned to laser surgery. Although painful, he hopes that it will gradually remove some of the tattoos he acquired during his younger years. Ethan has been undergoing the procedure for almost a year and has had it done six or seven times. “I started doing it because of the anxiety I was feeling. Mental stuff is hard to understand, but I think a lot of my anxiety came from having so many tattoos on my face. I like how I look, but I’m also glad that over the next two years, my face tattoos will fade more and more. I’m just starting fresh,” he revealed.

Ethan’s transformation is not only about changing his appearance, but also about being a role model for his daughter. He wants her to see him as someone who is not defined solely by his tattoos but also as a loving and caring father. By undergoing laser surgery and allowing his face tattoos to fade, Ethan is taking steps toward a new chapter in his life.
