Paris Hilton sparks safety concern after sharing video of her kids Phoenix and London in car seats

“My first Mother’s Day as a mom of two!” she wrote. “My heart is so full today… Use #FameWontLoveYou in your Mother’s Day posts so I can see all of your beautiful families.”

However, in another video, Paris, her husband Carter, and the babies were seen getting ready to head out and celebrate. This is where some viewers noticed a concerning detail – the babies were facing forward in their car seats.

Some concerned fans took to the comments to express their worry. One fan urged Paris to have someone professionally install the car seats, while another highlighted that it is safest for babies to be rear-facing until they are at least four years old or weigh over 40 pounds. Others were also worried about the simultaneous use of latches and belts, as it is generally not recommended.

According to Childcarseats.org, it is recommended that babies and infants be carried in rear-facing car seats. This significantly reduces the risk of injury or death in a crash, offering better protection for their head, neck, and spine compared to forward-facing seats.

Paris later shared a follow-up video in which the babies were correctly placed in rear-facing car seats. She responded to the concerns raised by her fans, appreciating the advice and explaining that she is a new mom who is constantly learning how to be the best mother she can be.

Paris Hilton’s journey as a mother is met with excitement and joy, but it’s important for all parents, including celebrities, to prioritize the safety of their children. As we continue to learn and grow, let’s continue to share knowledge and advice in a kind and supportive manner.

Safety First: Rear-Facing Car Seats for Babies

When it comes to the safety of our little ones, there are essential guidelines that every parent should follow. One of these guidelines is the use of rear-facing car seats for babies and infants. Rear-facing seats provide better protection for a baby’s head, neck, and spine compared to forward-facing seats, reducing the risk of injury or death in a crash by as much as 90%.

It is recommended that babies remain in a rear-facing seat for as long as possible, until they can sit up unaided and have exceeded the maximum weight or height restrictions for the seat. This typically occurs when the top of the child’s head is above the top of the seat. Alternatively, parents may consider using a larger extended rearward facing seat, which allows children to remain rear-facing until they reach 18kg or even 25kg.

Remember, the safety of our children should always be a top priority. Consult your car seat manufacturer’s recommendations and local laws to ensure that you are providing the safest possible environment for your little ones while traveling in a vehicle.
