Lauren Wasser, a remarkable Californian model, experienced a life-altering tragedy in 2012 that most of us can’t even fathom. Recently, Lauren has faced another heartbreaking setback. Doctors had to amputate her remaining leg. However, despite the challenges she continues to endure, Lauren is determined to ensure that no other woman has to go through the same harrowing experience.
“In a few months, I’m inevitably going to have my other leg amputated. There’s nothing I can do about it. But what I can do is help make sure that this doesn’t happen to others,” Lauren shared with The Daily Mail. She has even taken legal action against Kotex Natural Balance, the tampon brand that caused her severe reaction.
