Once upon a time, in a small town, there was a bar where extraordinary things would happen. One day, a middle-aged man walked into the bar and spotted his friend sitting alone at a table. Curiosity piqued, he approached his friend and noticed a tiny man playing the piano on the table.

“Wow, look how small he is! Where did you get him?” the man exclaimed, unable to contain his astonishment.

His friend chuckled and leaned in to share the secret. He explained, “Oh, well, there’s a mystical genie hidden at the back of this very bar. If you visit him, he will grant you any wish you desire.”

Intrigued by the thought of having his own magical experience, the man decided to venture to the back of the bar to find the genie. As he turned the corner, he discovered the genie patiently waiting.

“You are the genie, aren’t you?” the man asked curiously.

“Yes, indeed I am,” replied the genie with a warm smile. “What is it that you desire?”

After contemplating for a moment, the man confidently stated, “I would like a million bucks.”

To his surprise, as soon as he finished speaking, a flock of ducks materialized out of thin air and started following him back into the bar. Perplexed and slightly annoyed, the man returned to his friend’s table.

Looking at the ducks trailing behind him, the man expressed his frustration, “Look, that genie gave me ducks instead of bucks!”

His friend couldn’t help but burst into laughter. Between chuckles, he explained, “Well, yeah! Do you really think I asked for a twelve-inch pianist?”

Sometimes, miscommunication and unexpected outcomes can lead to hilarious situations. The moral of the story is to choose your wishes wisely, for magic has a way of playing tricks on us. And who knows, maybe, just maybe, there’s a genie waiting to grant your wishes right around the corner.
