Once upon a time, a courageous 10-year-old girl was walking home from school all by herself. As she made her way, a large man on a black motorcycle suddenly approached her. He rode alongside her for a while before finally turning to her and asking, “Hey there, little girl! Do you want to go for a ride?”

Without missing a beat, the little girl firmly replied, “NO!” and continued on her way, undeterred by the stranger’s offer. But the motorcyclist wasn’t ready to give up just yet.

He pulled up beside her again and tried another tactic. “Hey, little girl, I’ll give you $10 if you hop on the back,” he tempted. Once again, the brave girl stood her ground and repeated, “NO!” She quickened her pace, determined to stay safe.

Yet, the motorcyclist persisted. He pulled up beside her one more time, this time making an even sweeter offer. “Okay, kid, my last offer! I’ll give you 20 bucks and a big bag of candy if you just hop on the back of my bike for a ride.”

Finally, the little girl had enough. She stopped in her tracks, turned towards the man, and with all her might, she yelled out, “Look, Dad! You’re the one who bought the dad instead of the Harley! YOU RIDE ITIL!” (It’s an acronym for “It’s Lame!”)

In this heartwarming and inspiring story, the little girl teaches us the importance of standing up for ourselves and maintaining our boundaries, even in the face of temptation. Her courage and wit serve as a reminder that no matter how young or old we may be, we have the power to protect ourselves and make wise choices.

So the next time you find yourself in a challenging situation, channel your inner brave little girl and confidently say “NO!”
