Gary Sinise, renowned for his role in Forrest Gump, has shared the devastating news of his 33-year-old son’s passing on his foundation’s website and Instagram page. McCanna Anthony “Mac” Sinise fought a courageous battle against a rare form of cancer called Chordoma.

This heartbreaking diagnosis came just three months after Mac’s mother was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Despite his mother’s successful treatment, Mac’s condition deteriorated over time, leaving him physically impaired. The loss of his son has left Gary Sinise filled with immense grief, as he deeply understands the pain of losing a loved one. In this difficult time, he extends his sympathy to others who have experienced a similar loss.
