Once upon a time, there was a man who had six children. He was filled with pride for his expanding family. In fact, he was so proud that he started affectionately calling his wife “Mother of Six”, despite her objections.

One night, the couple attended a lively party. As the evening wore on, the man began to feel tired and thought it was time to head home. He wanted to check if his wife was ready to leave as well.

Without considering his volume, he boomed across the room, “Shall we go home, Mother of Six?” At that moment, his wife, annoyed by her husband’s lack of tact, responded sharply, “Whenever you’re ready, Father of Four!”

This light-hearted exchange reminds us that sometimes, even our proudest accomplishments can be put into perspective by those closest to us.
