Tom took to Instagram on Monday to express his grief and pay tribute to the love of his life, who tragically passed away on Saturday morning, just hours before they were set to exchange vows.
Tom, known for his appearance on X Factor and his role in the band Stereo Kicks, shared a heart-wrenching photo on Instagram. In the picture, his fiancée Dani is seen wearing a carrier with their eight-month-old son Bowie. Tom revealed that his fiancée’s unexpected death has left him utterly shattered, but he remains determined to stay strong for the sake of their young son.
Danielle Hampson, Tom’s fiancée, was a public relations executive and had no known health issues. The cause of her untimely death remains a mystery. Just last month, she had returned from a holiday in Sardinia with Tom. Her sudden passing has come as an immense shock to Tom and his family.
In his emotional Instagram post, Tom poured his heart out: “I can’t believe I am writing these words, but my darling Dani – my best friend, my everything and more, the love of my life – passed away in the early hours of Saturday morning, June 18. Through tears, Tom continued, “I feel like I’ve cried an ocean. We never got to say our vows or dance our first dance, but you know you were my entire world, Danielle. I will wear this ring as a symbol of my unwavering love for you.”

But I will gather every ounce of strength for our little boy. I will be the parent you had dreamed of, raising Bowie just the way we always wanted.
