Garth Brooks, the country music legend, has never been shy about expressing his love for his wife, Trisha Yearwood. In a recent interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Brooks couldn’t help but gush about his enduring love for Yearwood, even after 17 years of marriage.

“When it comes to the future, what I am grateful for is just one more day,” Brooks shared emotionally. “I would love for my three daughters to be around me, and of course, I would love for the queen, Trisha, to be by my side.”

Brooks, who shares three daughters with his ex-wife Sandy Mahl, credits his strong bond with Yearwood to their deep connection over multiple lifetimes. Despite meeting in the ’80s, they didn’t start dating until 2000, after Brooks’ divorce from Mahl was finalized.

Earlier this year, Brooks opened up about how much he relies on Yearwood in an interview with Us Weekly. He confessed, “I feel so helpless because there’s nothing I can’t do without her. There’s nothing I can’t do with her, and there’s nothing I can do without her.” He playfully added that it can be both a blessing and a curse to feel so free and independent when she’s around, yet so dependent when she’s not.

Even after nearly two decades of marriage, Brooks still cherishes every moment spent with Yearwood. He revealed that their date nights simply involve being in the same room, breathing the same air. Just having her presence is enough to make him feel content.

Yearwood echoes Brooks’ sentiments about their unwavering commitment to each other. In an interview with Us earlier this year, she admitted that in the past, she would easily bail when things got tough in relationships. But when it comes to Brooks, leaving is never an option. She emphasized that he is the love of her life, and they work through challenges together, emerging stronger on the other side.

Their love story is truly one for the ages, a testament to the power of love, loyalty, and communication. Watch the video below to see their beautiful relationship in action.
