In a video that recently went viral, a grandfather storms into his grandson’s school to address a concerning issue. The reason behind his outrage? The teacher had been putting his grandson in a dress, challenging traditional gender roles.
The determined grandpa enters the daycare center ready to take action. He requests to speak with the person in charge of his grandson’s care. However, he is met with an immediate refusal. The staff member informs him that he is not authorized to discuss the matter because his name is not on the official forms. Instead, she instructs him to go to another building and speak with the director.
In response, the grandpa firmly states, “We don’t do the transgender and all that. We don’t do that.”
The woman replies, “I understand. I don’t either. But he’s two.”
This response only fuels grandpa’s anger. He leans in closer, his voice becoming gruffer, as he insists that she stop dressing his grandson in a dress.
“I don’t appreciate you encouraging him to put on a dress for the second day. I don’t appreciate it, and this matter isn’t going away. I’m going to take it further.”
The staff member suggests that he speak with the director, as per protocol. But the grandpa is determined to address the person responsible for dressing his grandson. He firmly states, “No, I have an issue with you. I’m not playing games.”
She responds with, “I’m sorry that you feel that way.”
He echoes her words and adds, “But you should have called me before deciding to put my grandson in a dress.”
The teacher insists that he speak to the director, as it is the standard procedure at the daycare center.
However, the grandpa remains steadfast in his demands. “I wouldn’t be here if you hadn’t put my grandson in a dress.”
