Each stamp presents a clue that prompts collectors and letter-senders with the question, “This naturalized U.S. citizen hosted the quiz show ‘Jeopardy!’ for 37 seasons.” The answer, “Who is Alex Trebek?” can be found beneath the clue, written in charming upside-down print.
Ken Jennings, the current host of “Jeopardy!” expressed his enthusiasm about the tribute stamp. He stated, “Alex Trebek was an American institution, and it makes perfect sense to honor him on a postage stamp. When I saw that the full sheet of stamps looks like a ‘JEOPARDY!’ game board, I couldn’t help but geek out!”
