When the police arrived at the scene, they found Hursthouse intoxicated and slurring her words. The couple had also caused extensive damage to the hotel room’s bathroom door, further adding to the chaos of their passionate encounter.
In the end, both Boultbee and Hursthouse were ordered to pay a fine of one hundred pounds each, totaling over one thousand American dollars.
