The best rendition of «Hallelujah.» He sings so well he gets a Golden Buzzer

Growing up, I always had big dreams of being a star. Whether it was pretending to strut the red carpet like an actress or imagining myself on stage accepting a prestigious award, I yearned for my moment in the spotlight. Singing even crossed my mind as a potential career path, but soon I realized that it wasn’t necessary for me to shine.

Nowadays, I enjoy watching others pursue their dreams and achieve greatness through shows like Britain’s Got Talent. It’s truly inspiring to witness individuals given the opportunity to showcase their talents and make their mark in the entertainment industry. What’s even more captivating is hearing the stories behind these participants as they step onto the stage and captivate audiences with their unique gifts. Every single person who graces this platform deserves our attention and admiration.

Today I want to tell you about an incredible young boy who managed to win the hearts of millions despite his doubting himself due to incessant bullying regarding his passion for music and his weight. This teenager endured both physical attacks and mental torment during his time in primary school, simply because of his love for singing. In his own words, he recalls, “I don’t think those two mix. I sang theatre songs a lot. It wasn’t cool.”

People around him insisted that he should be singing rap music, but it just wasn’t his style. One horrific incident involved bullies striking him across the face with a metal scooter. Kyle, the resilient young singer, shares, “My mom was terrified for me to go to school because she didn’t know what would happen next.” The abuse he faced was so severe that there were days when he couldn’t bear the thought of stepping foot in that school. They taunted him with hurtful words: “You’re gay, you’re fat, you’re this and you’re that…” They even took advantage of the little things. But despite all these hurtful remarks, Kyle remained steadfast, believing in the age-old saying, “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never break me.” These experiences shaped him into a stronger person, more determined than ever to succeed. In a surprising turn of events, he even credits his bullies, stating, “In a sense, I want to thank them because it’s made me who I am.”

Throughout his journey, Kyle found immense support from his loving family, especially his brothers, Nathan (29) and Ieuan (23). They were his pillars of strength during this harrowing ordeal.

At only 12 years old, Kyle first auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent but was unfortunately not selected to advance. However, judge David Walliams saw potential in the young performer and advised him to take singing lessons to further refine his skills. Taking David’s advice to heart, Kyle invested over £2,000 in vocal lessons, and three years later, he returned to the BGT stage with a renewed confidence.

This time, Kyle not only wowed the judges but also won over the hearts of the audience with his sublime rendition of the song “Hallelujah.” His performance was so captivating that he received the coveted golden buzzer, a moment of triumph that left everyone mesmerized by his talent and charming presence.

Take a moment to watch Kyle’s extraordinary and heart-rending performance below. Look into his eyes and witness the raw talent and passion that earned him the golden buzzer. It’s evident why he was chosen to shine on that stage.
