Parenthood is no easy feat. New parents often find themselves overwhelmed with the responsibility of raising their baby in the best possible way. They are bombarded with opinions and advice from well-meaning friends and family. Among the long list of challenges, potty training stands out as a milestone that parents typically tackle when their child is a couple of years old. But what if we told you that there’s a couple who successfully potty trained their baby girl at just two weeks old?

Meet Montana Lower and Tom Lindwood from Byron Bay, Australia. They documented their parenting journey on their YouTube channel called ‘On The Way’. Little did they know that their unique approach to potty training would become a topic of discussion and amazement worldwide.

Instead of adhering to the traditional timeline, Montana and Tom decided to give potty training a go as soon as their baby girl arrived. They embraced a method called ‘elimination communication’ which focuses on observing cues for bathroom needs and responding promptly.

Sounds too good to be true, right? But it worked! By paying close attention to their baby’s signals, they were able to establish a pattern and effectively communicate with her. Whenever their little one needed to use the toilet, they would recognize the signs and promptly take her to the bathroom.

Aside from the obvious convenience of no longer needing diapers, Montana and Tom’s decision had additional benefits. They were able to avoid the potential environmental damage caused by disposable diapers, a problem that plagues numerous parents worldwide.
