Tammy Slaton, popularly known for her appearance on the show “1000-Lb. Sisters,” has undergone an incredible transformation. She has managed to shed a whopping 440 pounds and proudly displayed her new figure in a stunning dark blue swimsuit, alongside her friend, psychic medium Haley Michelle.
Tammy has battled with her weight throughout her life, but her recent accomplishments have brought her a newfound sense of freedom and mobility. “Just being able to walk without a walker or be pushed in a wheelchair, and no oxygen. I don’t even sleep with it at night anymore,” Tammy shared, highlighting the significant improvements in her quality of life.
While she has received tremendous support for her achievements, there have also been some negative reactions. Unfortunately, some comments have been unsettling and creepy. However, Tammy remains focused on her health and well-being. Her astounding weight loss can be attributed to the bariatric surgery she underwent in July 2022, which helped her reduce her weight from 725 pounds to 285 pounds.
