The fan, Ana Clara Benevides, 23, fainted in the front row of Swift’s Friday-night show due to the extreme heat. Despite efforts by doctors at the scene to revive her, she was unfortunately declared dead at a local hospital. In honor of Benevides, Taylor performed a special song called “Bigger Than the Whole Sky,” a poignant track about grief and heartache from her latest album Midnights.
