She entered into a sporadic romantic relationship with Chris Cline, a multibillionaire coal magnate and philanthropist. While her previous marriage to Tiger was filled with lies and deceit, her relationship with Cline offered a fresh start. Although they eventually parted ways in 2017, their time together was cut short when Cline tragically died in a helicopter crash on July 4, 2019.
Since their divorce over ten years ago, both Elin and Tiger have gone their separate ways romantically. However, they have successfully co-parented their children and maintained a peaceful relationship. Elin even gets along well with Tiger’s current girlfriend, Erica Herman, and is genuinely happy for them.
In an interview with Stephen Colbert in October 2016, Tiger expressed his commitment to co-parenting and praised his relationship with Elin. He referred to her as a “best friend” and highlighted the importance of effective communication. It’s interesting to ponder what Elin thinks of Tiger’s comment, considering the many affairs and betrayals that occurred during their marriage.
