In a recent episode of the popular SiriusXM podcast, Let’s Go! with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald, and Jim Gray, the topic of Tom Brady making a comeback to the NFL came up once again. This time, it was Jimmy Donaldson, aka Mr. Beast from YouTube, who jokingly suggested that Brady’s return would skyrocket the podcast’s ratings.

But Brady’s response was quick and firm – “I am NOT coming out of retirement.” He acknowledged Mr. Beast’s clever idea but made it clear that his decision was primarily driven by his family. Even Jim Gray, Brady’s co-host, tried to convince him otherwise, but Brady stuck to his guns. He even quipped, “My parents and my kids would call. They would kill me. I wouldn’t be around by tonight.”

For those who need a little context, Brady initially retired from the NFL on February 1, 2022, after an impressive 22-year career. However, that retirement only lasted 40 days before he unretired and returned to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the 2022 season. He retired “for good” in the 2023 offseason, on February 1, 2023.

“As I said, you’re only allowed one un-retirement. And I’ve used it up,” Brady responded when Jim Gray suggested a different idea to boost ratings. “So at this point, I’m just looking forward to being in more of your videos because my kids don’t think I’m s–t,” Brady added playfully to Mr. Beast.

Brady acknowledged Mr. Beast’s influence on the younger community and how his three children – John ‘Jack’ Edward Thomas, Benjamin Rein, and Vivian Lake – are more likely to listen to Mr. Beast than their own father. “Jimmy’s the one that’s got their attention. So if he tells them to do something, he’s got a lot more influence than I do. So I’m actually trying to stay on their good side,” Brady said, hinting at a potential collaboration between himself and Mr. Beast in the future.

Mr. Beast’s YouTube Show Extends an Invite to Tom Brady

Imagine the incredible collaboration between Tom Brady, the current G.O.A.T. of YouTube, and one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. It would undoubtedly be legendary, and it wouldn’t matter what they decide to do – people from all around the world would be eager to tune in.

And the good news is, it might actually be happening soon! During one of his recent podcasts, Mr. Beast extended an invitation to Tom Brady to be a contestant in one of his YouTube videos. He even gave a glimpse of what this collaboration might look like.

“Yeah, come on down. It’d be fun to have you as a contestant. Imagine my viewers, they just click on a video, and it’s like a hundred people competing, and then suddenly it’s Tom Brady. They’d be like, what the heck? It’d be so funny,” Mr. Beast explained enthusiastically. Doesn’t that sound like something you would watch?

Tom Brady seemed to like the idea, but he had one condition – the competition should highlight his strengths. He exclaimed, “I’ll do it. We just gotta make a competition that I’m somewhat decent at. You can’t bury me alive or something like that!” Retirement hasn’t diminished his competitive spirit, and he still strives to win at everything he takes on.

So, be on the lookout for a potential collaboration between Tom Brady and Mr. Beast. It’s sure to be an unforgettable event that fans of all ages won’t want to miss.
