Once upon a time, a chicken walked into a library with a purpose. It confidently made its way to the librarian’s desk and exclaimed, “Book, book, BOOK!” The librarian, amused but curious, handed over a couple of novels to the determined chicken. As the chicken left the library, it walked across the street, through a field, and disappeared down a hill, clutching the precious books in its beak.
To everyone’s surprise, the chicken returned the next day, just as determined as before. It confidently approached the librarian, dropped the books on the desk, and exclaimed, “Book, Book, BOOK, BOOK!” The librarian, now intrigued, handed over a few more books as the chicken eagerly dragged them away.
And then, it happened once again. The chicken made its third appearance and, as before, dropped the books on the desk. This time, however, the librarian decided to follow the chicken in curiosity. Together, they ventured across the street, through a field, and down a hill until they reached a peaceful pond.
To the librarian’s astonishment, perched on a rock at the edge of the pond was the largest frog they had ever seen. The chicken confidently approached the frog, dropped the book on the pond’s edge, and said, “Book, Book, Book!” In a surprising turn of events, the frog hopped over, used its front leg to push through the pile of books, and said, “Read it, read it, read it…”
This delightful tale reminds us that even the most unexpected creatures can have a thirst for knowledge. Whether it’s a determined chicken or a wise frog, books hold a special place in our hearts and minds. So, embrace your inner curiosity, like the chicken, and never be afraid to seek out new stories and adventures through the pages of a book. You never know what delightful surprises may await you!
