For four years, Bacon shared a rental office with a pianist because he couldn’t afford his own apartment. But as he worked hard and became a successful actor, his life changed for the better. Along the way, he met and fell in love with his now-wife of 35 years, Kyra Sedgwick.

They first met in 1987 on the set of the movie “Lemon Sky.” Bacon was instantly smitten with Sedgwick, but she didn’t feel the same way at first. However, after a little pursuing, they went on their first date and had a fantastic time. They laughed for hours during a romantic dinner, and Sedgwick realized that Bacon was meant for her.
