A recent incident at a pool in Florida has left 42-year-old Melody Carr feeling unfairly targeted. After visiting the pool at Country Inn & Suites, Carr was charged with disorderly intoxication. She believes that the manager of the pool called the police because she was jealous of Carr’s good looks in her revealing bikini.

Carr had chosen to relax and unwind by spending the day lounging by the pool. However, the manager noticed her and approached her, not recognizing her as a guest. The manager asked Carr for her room number to ensure she was allowed to be on the hotel grounds.

Unfortunately, this simple request turned into a heated exchange. Carr became furious and refused to provide her room number. Frustrated, she stormed off, leaving the manager concerned.

Shortly after, Carr was outside the hotel with her dog when the police arrived. She became verbally aggressive with the officers, stating that the manager had called them because of jealousy. Carr explained that she had left her boyfriend behind in their room due to a fight, and since her car wasn’t working, she had no choice but to stay at the hotel.

The situation escalated when Carr drove to a gas station in a Mustang convertible. Police officers met her there and detected the smell of alcohol on her breath. This led to her arrest for driving under the influence.

Carr claims to have consumed an alcoholic beverage at 9 am at the hotel. However, she couldn’t explain why her blood alcohol level was high at the time of her arrest. As a result, she was taken to Marion County Jail to face the consequences of her actions.

Although the outcome of Carr’s case remains uncertain, one thing is clear: she won’t be returning to the Country Inn & Suites anytime soon. The manager who called the police is still there, making it difficult for Carr to go back. If she plans another trip to Florida, she’ll need to find an alternate place to stay.
