Tyler, Tori’s fiancé, took to Facebook to share this bizarre experience, which quickly went viral. In his post, he expressed his disbelief that his soon-to-be wife was made to feel humiliated because of her pink one-piece swimsuit.
According to Tyler, Tori replied to the consultant’s comment about her appearance by saying, “I know what I look like, I bought this myself, it’s not a thong.” However, the consultant responded by insinuating that if Tori didn’t have children of her own, she wouldn’t understand. The consultant even went as far as to say that she wouldn’t want her own kids around Tori.
This incident left Tori feeling deeply violated, objectified, embarrassed, and humiliated. After all, she was paying for her apartment and should have the freedom to enjoy the swimming pool while wearing a perfectly modest one-piece swimsuit.
